What it’s About
In this series of activities, you will connect sensors to the micro:bit and measure them with simple scripts. Here are some of the things you will measure:
- Pushbutton contact, motion detection, tilt detection, directional pushbutton contact
- Rotational position, moisture level, liquid level,
- distance to an object
- Black/white stripes, pressure on a surface
- Presence or absence of a nearby object
Before you start
You will need:
- micro bit Sensor Pack (Search for 32735 at www.parallax.com.)
- micro:bit v2 GO Bundle (32717)
- USB A to Micro B cable
- Computer with at least one USB A port
(or a USB port with a USB C to A adapter) - An up-to-date Chrome or Microsoft Edge browser.
