Contests Large and Small
- Boe-Bot has a level of affordability and scale conducive to robotics contests within the classroom
- For a variety of learning styles and fields of interest by adding points for different parts of a contest. Example: After teaching navigation and music, give points or have a placing category for the coolest music at the end of the obstacle course.
- Contests can help improve study habits. Example: Announce that the current homework has an important key to completing the next contest.
- Lecture example on code from Robotics with the Boe-Bot, pages 134-135. (This is the book that came with your kit, and it's also on your USB drive.)
- Music from What's a Microcontroller Chapter 8, also on your USB drive.
- Regional contests after small and frequent in-class and/or inter-class contests.
